The ride starts from World Cycles at 7:45 am sharp. The whole group rides to Rancho San Diego and eventually reaches Dehesa climb, after the climb part of the group makes a left at the top of Dehesa and climb towards Alpine, this being the route B. The rest of the group continues on to the Great Western Lyons Valley route, this is the route A. Route B is about 40 miles long and the route A is about 52 miles with over 5000' of climbing.
